Born in 1986 in the rural town of Oneonta
in Central New York, Emily is a Brooklyn-
based artist who is captivated by the cold
romanticism of winter and the magical
moments of urban living.

Emily paints with acrylic and watercolor
because of the beautiful washes these
medium allow. She loves both the forgiveness
of acrylic and also the unforgiving nature
of watercolor. She hopes to evoke a sense of
timelessness through her paintings.

Emily is a 2008 graduate of The Cooper
Union School of Art, located in the East
Village of Manhattan. She currently
lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

  On November 10th, 2009,
